I relate to you so much esosa. Rm is my "bias" but it's not because of visuals or anything superficial like that. there is something else there that pulls me towards namjoon and I have massive respect for him and look at him as a role model even though I'm a guy who is the same age as him. We're both born in 1994 but it feels like he is such a deep and mature person and I strive to be like him. also holy sht your explanation for how mono feels is exactly what i do. when im too stressed and can't sleep i put on the album while lying down and it helps me feel calm. PS: Uh good is my fav song of the album as well lol

I know what you mean Esosa, when I think of MONO I always say that it was as if for a moment Namjoon's sadness touched my own bubble of sadness and it felt so comforting, even if you can't necessarily relate to every single song.

Actually Mono hits even harder if you also listen to his first mixtape "RM" which had such an angry and intense sound in comparison because it carries all of his frustrations from the way people treated him in the first years of his career, you truly feel as if he's finally started to let go and find a sort of inner peace by the time Mono came out.

This was so wonderful to re-experience mono and Indigo with my besties 🥰 Esosa, I’m the same as you. Bias doesn’t seem enough to describe everything Namjoon is and what he means to me. The first time I listened to Indigo, I was overwhelmed by his artistry and then when translations were available, by his lyricism. And mono just takes me places - Uhgood is also my favourite. Will be so great for you to experience Wild Flower again now you are ‘awakened’, both the song and mv are stunning. I also highly recommend the Indigo Magazine Film (on YouTube) where he goes through each song and his collaborators contribute as well. Anyway that was way too rambly lol. Love you guys, keep enjoying the journey 💜

Esosa, you should definitely read analysis of Joonie’s lyrics. He’s such an amazing POET. His wordplay is insane and he also uses double/ triple entendres that cuts across the Korean and English language. SEXY BRAIN. 🤯🫠🥰
