I TOTALLY SEE THAT, YEP YEP! And his little nose scrunch, ugh! That live performance is everything T___T it's really obvious how much he loves singing! Like in his Can't Take My Eyes Off You cover you can clearly see him smiling while singing and it's the best really. Let him sing moooore. Still can't get over the fact that they put him behind a macbook and called it a day. That set-up worked for Taeyong, since he's much more animated and used to talking on his own into the camera (he loved doing vlives alone in his room) and everyone else got an MC or at least were a group of people. He seemed so lost and shy! It's so precious how he explained all his thoughts and how he wanted the song and MV to feel like him. I love how the NCT Lab concept gives the members space to express themselves musically, but I hate how the songs don't get any real promotions and only fans really known about them.

i am actually so happy to witness ur journey appreciating him as an artist. u got into him from Ay-Yo bcs of his rapping and visual, and the fact that now you're here praising his spirit in singing warms my heart. you have no idea as a fan of jaehyun for quite some time, he has always been the member who people tend to overlook of his talents bcs hes objectively pretty and the amount of time he got discredited for his singing ability when hes in fact one of the best in vocal techiques in all of nct, 3rd after taeil and doyoung, just bcs he has deeper vocal tone and was not given much vocal opportunities in nct songs as a main vocalist. when jaehyun mentioned that his fans (valentines) want to hear him singing, this was when we kept on voicing out how much we wanted to hear him singing more bcs they kept on making him rap or reduced his singing lines in each comeback when hes actually a main vocalist. jaehyun mentioned about "my fans want to hear me singing" FIVE times in separate occasions: bubble, music space, instagram live he did before the release of Forever Only, forever only mv behind and in his billboard interview. u can see that he knows that he doesnt sing as much and its kinda sad bcs jaehyun really loves singing and has a lot of passion for it. im glad that hes making his own way as a soloist starting with his Lost solo stage (he directed the stage and composed the song) and Forever Only. Really looking forward to what hes cooking for us next because he did hint about his own songs since early 2023, man is preparing for his solo album rn. anyways thanks for appreciating him Esosa, glad that ure one of us.

sorry for commenting again but since you have reacted to Lost, Forever Only, and you are aware of his I Like Me Better cover.. I hope one day you will react to Try Again MV which was his first ever song release in 2017. It was a duet with a singer called D.ear but its such a beautiful song that it got viral in 2021 and it has become a lot of people's fav song till this day. I dont think he will ever change it because during sticker era when 127 members had to change their pfp for pre-comeback stuffs (profile pic as a university student for Who Is Sticker? content), he then changed it back immediately to the poetic beauty pfp after it was all done. very typical of him i must say.

I totally get what you mean when you said you like being able to see skin texture and detail!! I love that too and it's one of the reasons I appreciate seeing taeyongs scar under his eye and haechans moles whenever they don't get edited out in their pictures
