[DINO'S DANCEOLOGY] Josef Salvat - call on me (with MINGYU) (Patreon)

2023-06-02 03:30:27 HE DOES know when to look and when NOT to look - it's amaaazing. Like he's looking at us, but then he's in a moment with himself, and it's A LOT. But ok I watched that one hip moment soooo many times right after they turn and I realized that Dino is moving his hips like a LOT and Mingyu is giving the same feeling but he's dancing it with his upper body, like he's giving an upper body roll/circle and Dino is giving alllllll the body. His hair is DOING the choreo toooo yeah. I love it so much. Mingyu looks amaaazing I finally got to look at him more than my hips analysis because every other part of the choreo before it was so hard to watch him even though I knew he was killing it because Dino was just tooooo charismatic and mesmerizing - and you're so right, the way he manages to match Dino and execute is absolutely insane, I think about this constantly because I'm as tall as Mingyu hahahaha I know what it's like to try to match speed and lines and not feel clumsy (and I'm not good) HIS FACIAL EXPRESSIONS???? OK. Anyway. <3 I'm so happy for you, Özlem - Dino bringing back Danceology for you, happy Dino's Danceology return!

I was really impressed by Mingyu in this! He was so smooth and had really powerful movements mixed in with the more subtle graceful ones! It is always interesting to think about how different body types interact with dance. Mingyu is a big guy, height and just general size, so what he has to work on to get to this point is just gonna be so different so that, like you said, it doesn't clunky or clumsy. He's improved a lot over the years. Also I LOVE DINO CHOREOS, he knows the other members well and is able to meld to their dance style and incorporate genres that fit them. And he hears so many dynamics from the Music and mixes in different types of moves. He just makes really fun to watch pieces. I desperately wish he would make another choreo for a unit song like how he did with Flower.
