OMG I really enjoyed this. D-DAY is a masterpiece of an album, and Ozlem, I wept too the first time I heard Snooze. Yoongi wrote it for himself, his juniors in the industry, and his fans, and that hit so much harder after Moonbin's passing last month. In my opinion, D-DAY is the album of the year, literally nothing can top this body of work for me in 2023, both in k-pop and outside it. It's such a masterpiece and his live performances of these songs on tour is somehow even better??? HE'S I.N.S.A.N.E.

Thank you 💜

I couldn't stop but feel the emotion with Özlem. When she started crying, I nearly lost it. I also agree with you guys when you say that sometimes people don't understand how much rap music can also make you feel emotions because at the end of the day, it is still music where people are conveying their emotions and it doesn't have to be a ballad to be emotional. Anyways thank you guys for reacting to this masterpiece!!

Also, Esosa, what you said about finally 'getting' ARMY rage made me feel so seen. I tend to stay out of fanwars because k-pop 'discourse' is basically just fans shitposting about idols/groups/songs they don't actually care about to get a quick dopamine hit. But no other group has poured out their souls *in graphic detail* the way BTS has since debut. The reason their music has always had a personal bent is because they've been writing their own songs, their own heartbreaking stories of personal struggles, trauma, abuse, *since debut* - there's 10 YEARS of this background, and yet people ridicule it, dismiss it, discount it, insult them and victim-blame, twist their words and look for every opportunity to paint the boys as evil, and this came from BOTH kpop stans and the industry, and ARMYs mostly kept their heads down, tried to ignore it to focus on BTS and reward BTS hardwork with accolades both in Korea and internationally, until around 2018 when ARMYs started 'fighting fire with fire', fully participating in fanwars and dragging other groups/fandoms in return. That's had the unfortunate effect of attracting more 'shooters' into the fandom who attack other groups/fandoms at the slightest provocation, and has just brought in that toxicity into ARMY and made the whole space more toxic because nobody wins in fanwars. Even then, most of ARMY still chooses not to participate in fanwars but it doesn't make that rage any less - at least for me. I mean, just look at the reaction of most kpop stans to Yoongi's latest album, Heageum, and even Snooze. I appreciate your reaction Esosa because it gave me some hope that some people are still willing to see the boys as they are. Especially Yoongi, because he's shared so much and saved lives as a result. He saved mine - a Yoruba girl from a toxic patriarchal home who took a chance to immigrate to Europe to support my mom back home, managed to bring my mom over while dealing with the mental toll of an extremely dysfunctional family and a racist work environment. Yoongi's music, and much of what BTS makes, has saved me. Thanks again for this reaction. 💜

Also (sorry last comment), the lyrics translation for HUH?! on that video was very incorrect lol. Yoongi uses a lot of idioms in his verse that translated very awkwardly in that video. I've linked a fuller translation here just fyi: https://doolsetbangtan.wordpress.com/2023/04/23/huh/

Oh bts has definitely forgiven them. Cuz they're petty, you'd know if they still held a grudge. They haven't contacted multiple people, haven't been to different award shows and that's just because they mistreated them once.

I donno how many times I’ve cried listening to snooze and Amygdala. Saw Yoongi on his first day of the tour in New York. It was so surreal. So proud of how far he’s come and he seems so much happier now! I hope you guys have a wonderful time discovering BTS discography. Can’t wait for next Monday!

Guys, thank you for this reaction, I was sure that you will find this album very comforting. I felt that way too! I also hope that you will find time and desire to react to some older stuff by Yoongi, like "Agust D", "Give it to me", "People" (part 1)
