the first stage performance u watched was during inkigayo and during that time jaehyun was the MC (he was the mc with monsta x minhyuk and april naeun) so thats why the camera man gave a lot of focus part on jaehyun bcs he was "special" 😂. anyways...i was contemplating whether to share the behind of this Punch performance but ill just type it out in case u decide to read. Punch comeback was not really a pleasant cb for jaehyun bcs it happened during his itaewon scandal with the other 3 members (which was already cleared that they went out not on the day the restriction was imposed. dispatch did dirty to them when they did nothing wrong) he was mocked, sent death threats, his family got doxxed, was asked to leave the group and knetz were sending bad comments to him when they had a comeback live where he looked visibly uncomfortable but he still tried to look happy and the members were extra loud and cheerful. taeyong kept on patting his back and neck the whole live to cheer him on. there was another live they did and jh was sitting at the back next to jungwoo, he wasnt smiling at all and jungwoo kept patting his thigh. he posted apology letter on ig on the same day the Punch Mv was released if im not mistaken then continued to do the promotions. despites the backlash, jaehyun still did his mc duty and inkigayo showed support by giving him the throne 😂 during the end of inkigayo show after they announced the winner of that week, 127 were dancing cheerfully to the encore music and johnny pulled jaehyun next to him and made him dance and that was like the first time we saw him smile after everything. we all were grateful for johnny :( heres the clip https://twitter.com/19960201__DY/status/1264464889906515969?t=F7IdH3WJaKwVnTldYbt4Ig&s=19

just watched until the end and lmao i thought ure gonna watch jh's inkigayo fancam 😭 but his inkigayo facecam is my favorite bcs idk his facial expression was crazy there https://youtu.be/h8TF6FVqYCY ah u touched about itaewongate at the end i didnt expect that hshsh so just take my first comment as me telling u what happened to him during the scandal. he was already a less talkative member so seeing him shutting down was sad but its all in the past now

Punch was such a weird era xDD They performed the song at their Beyond Live concert before the official release and it was hilarious how the fans who watched couldn't really recall how the song goes/sounded. The fandom joked that the song evoked amnesia :D the styling was a lot! We got cool racer styles (since you love those jackets: you need to watch Ep.20 of Johnny's Communication Center, where he shows us how the stage outfits were made together with Jaehyun! the video is in my Jaehyun x Johnny playlist), casual suits-jackets with jeans AND those almost dominatrix-kinda looks with fake-tattoos! and yeah, additionally the comeback was sadly overshadowed by the whole '97-liner scandal, which hit 2-3 days prior and korean comment sections, especially during live streams, were flooded with hate comments. I feel like he got the most hate simply because he had a comeback and was an easy target =/ but he pulled thru and the members were amazing in their support! (it's ironic how Jaehyun was never seen with the other '97 liners - whenever they got together and shared pictures/stories, he was never there - and the first time he did go out with them, to our knowledge, this happens ...) Inkigayo is definitely Jaehyun-biased! They're always extra with him, even tho Doyoung was their MC first xDD Maybe you could check out the special performances with his fellow Inkigayo MCs - they did three: one as an introduction, a christmas special and a summer special!
