So NCT U is a rotational unit where all the members are mixed around depending on the concept or style of the song. They have three NCT U albums so far and they usually name it by the year it comes out. So the first album was NCT 2018 (there were 18 members at the time and Kun/ Ten still had no fixed group) then NCT 2020 (where Sungchan and Shotaro were first introduced with no fixed group and they totaled to 23) and most recent was NCT 2021 (Winwin and Lucas did not participate for separate reasons). Each album has 1 song from each fixed subunit, and all the other songs will have a different mix of people and number ( like baby don’t stop has 2, and other songs will have 3, 5 or 7 people). I love these NCT U units because you seen them collaborate between each other and the boys always have so much fun hanging out together.

So Sungchan and Shotaro have still not been placed in their fixed unit yet, it’s been like 2 years…..Ten and Kun were also like that for almost 3 years when they debut 2016 but had no fixed unit until 2019 with WayV. BUT they are finally debuting this year as NCT Tokyo/Japan and had a show called NCT Universe with 3 SMRookies which we believe will also be in the group! I recommend watching that show as Sungchan and Shotaro guide the rookies through NCT history and timeline, they also meet the subunits and learn about them. It’s super cute and informative!! It will definitely help you learn some names and who goes where!!

Also btw, I think you saw Jeno in Hot & Cold - did you watch Hot & Cold??? SMCU Winter Palace Seulgi & Karina & Kai & Jeno? I can't remember at this point, but yeah. EXCUSE ME WHAT. I hear zero people talking about OK! and so that is on Özlem and every other Nctizen I am so offended. JENO did NYFW and walked in the show that Seulgi went to - Peter Do. :) There is great behind the scenes content with both of them. SO YOU NEED TO SEE THAT. Goosebumps on that last song. This is so fun. Because I have been so casually listening around NCT and I agree. Taeil is a SPECIAL PERSON for me, too. He is outside of biasdom. He's my baby I will protect. I will always love his vocals forever and ever and I want him to succeed at everything in life that he wants.
