Soooo happy to watch your process of falling into the pit that is Red Velvet. Even though yes, SM seems to treat them differently than some other artists in the company, they are still loved and cherished in the public eye overall. I think RV and SM are very picky about what to put out to the fans and the public because at the end of the day... they are true artists. All of RV are introverted (a few can be ambiverts at times), and I think because of that they truly value their privacy and good relationships with Luvies. That being said, they love their work and love to give us content and perform for us. The content that we do have is LEGENDARY and is a main reason that RV is so loved outside of their LEGENDARY music just for their personalities. There are plenty of haters out there for sure, netizens sometimes forget to abide by our Leader Irene's words to "wait with respect", and some people are much too jealous to be considered good people. I think it is really important to know the groups history once you listen to all of their music. I think learning where they come from and what they have been through is giving them another level of respect and another layer of love that they deserve. I was exactly like you for a long time, I put off deep diving into them because I was nervous about becoming obsessed (I can't like things in a normal way either), but I can say that I have never once regretted being their fan in any capacity, and I feel that once you get past the learning stage in your RV journey, EVERYTHING will becoming more meaningful and enrich your life more. RV aren't just artists, women, singers, dancers..... they are real people to look up to and learn from.

I want to add that Luvies are everywhere in all types, some hiding, others out in the open. We help each other, support each other, and come together to be the best for our cake girls. Revelupsubs has so much content on their website and youtube channel, so please don't be afraid to check it out. Bubbleflexe and Seulbearish are THE LUVIES. They really do so much for the community and make such good videos on youtube. @redvnews on instagram is a great account to follow for keeping up to date with the girls' activities and will help keep track of all the things that are worth reacting to and watching for yourselves.
