Keeping you all in the loop (Patreon)

UPDATE: We have been testing a few things out. We really are Differently Alike a.k.a technical difficulty babes 💀😭  It's been quite the struggle trying to figure things out. Either way we will be continuing again with our schedule. Sorry for the delay and the absence. The next few days will be a bit weird contentwise but at least from my end (Esosa) starting Monday back to how we were going before. 

Everyones suggestions were really helpful! Thank you very much 💖 This was an issue I knew nothing about so I had to really get familiar with the whole thing and I'm still not deeping everything yet. 

Okay but anyway content will be coming back again.

Hi Besties!

Just letting you know that we are currently struggling with uploading new video's to Patreon. We use Vimeo for our videos and we have been notified that we have exceeded the limit of Vimeo's Fair Use Bandwidth Policy...again.

I'll be in talks with the Vimeo people to see if we can work out a nice plan for us that is affordable. Right now we do not make a profit from Differently Alike and both Özlem and I still work. Everything we get, gets put right back into the channel (new gear, upgrade in software and platforms, etc.).

Personally I would love for everything to keep going as is. However I do want you all to keep in mind that if it becomes apparent that we cannot sustain this current model, we will most likely have to stop with Patreon and extra reactions since we do not feel it would be fair to charge more. Also having more people watch would just add to the issue.

As for now, we don’t know what to do, but we will keep you updated.

Anyway….we’re open to your suggestions.
