If I may I would like to recommend some ships, relationships or dynamics (whatever you want to call them) to watch. There are the most famous ones the ones that people write fanfiction for to be clear which are: Hoshi and Woozi (Soonhoon) Seungkwan and Vernon (Verkwan) Scoups and Jeonghan (Jeongcheol) Dk and Joshua (Seoksoo) Jun and The8 (Junhao) Mingyu and Wonwoo (Meanie) I honestly think everyone sees them as best friends and Dino as the maknae who gets everyone's unconditional love. It has to be said that some of my favorite dynamics include: Dk and hoshi Seungkwan and Hoshi Dk and Seungkwan Seungkwan and Dino Jeonghan and Dk Jeonghan and Dino To be honest I love all the relationships within the group, it's impossible not to see the affection they have for each other, I think that's also one of the things that makes you get attached to them so quickly despite being a group of 13 people.

ooooh, let me rant about soonwoo for a hot second! so; hoshi and wonwoo are probably one of my favorite duos in seventeen (and that's saying a lot because there's so many incredible duos in this group! and trios!) and it's because they have such a genuine and kind bond with each other. honestly, all of 96-line has a beautiful friendship with each other and if you ever have any time left over in your spare time, this cute video highlights the many similarities between jun, hoshi, wonwoo and woozi and their sweet friendship (https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=xkJJ8ounNN4&t=533s) I'm just a simp for 96-line in general, fight me. so, anyway, soonwoo is the cutest shit on this earth and I will die on this hill because their genuine adoration for each other is painfully obvious. hoshi, having a really weird sense of humor, usually has wonwoo either completely cracking up or rolling his eyes with affection. wonwoo has a really dry sense of humor and you best believe that hoshi will always drop to his knees laughing his heart out at something funny wonwoo said in passing. they've both stated that they're best friends and have been really close friends ever since they were in school together during pre-debut and their bond is quiet, but steady. their chaotic (hoshi) and calm (wonwoo) energy is honestly hilarious, especially when wonwoo loses his calm demeanor; if you see clips where wonwoo is being unusually loud, you can always see hoshi completely losing his shit in the background. they're so fond of each other, it's honestly the sweetest thing. just the best. obviously soongyu is insanely cute as well (let's be honest, all members have unique and close bonds with each other so you can make any combination and it will either be hilarious, chaotic or flirty or all three, there is no in between). (side note: in case you're curious about the competition for best duo in seventeen for me, there are three other insanely strong friendship duos that I think a lot of carats would agree have a very strong friendship and chemistry. 1. verkwan (vernon + seungkwan) are the only 98-liners in the group and is probably my favorite duo in kpop of all time, ngl. these two weirdos perfectly balance each other out and their close bond since pre-debut has cemented them as one of the most (if not the most) popular ship in seventeen because of their opposite personalities and undeniable affection for each other. vernon even came to jeju to hang out with seungkwan and his family on his spare time. these two always has heart eyes for each other (look up literally any compilation with these two; vernon looks at seungkwan like he literally hung up the sun. this one in particular is very sweet: https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=trLqKJ8i7DM) and they're the perfect representation of an introvert and an extrovert being besties. we love to see it. 2. jihan (jeonghan + joshua) and honestly, all of 95-line has a very sibling rivalry vibe to them but that's probably because jeonghan and joshua live to tease cheol hahaha. these two became very close friends during pre-debut, as they joined pledis at the same time and even promised each other that if one of them wanted to leave, the other would go with them. their friendship is one that is mostly reserved for off-camera but you can catch them always making fun of each other, messing around or always looking out for each other in the background. this video is full of amazingly sweet jihan moments that you probably never noticed because their friendship is very lowkey, although they are very vocal about how similar and close they are; the clips of them during pre-debut are especially sweet when you know how these two struggled and relied on each other: https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=7rdxUE_pnjo. highly recommend watching this if you're curious about their dynamic; it's one of my all-time favorites. 3. junhao (jun + minghao) ok, I don't ship any of the members romantically, I just adore all of their chemistry together, but these two has the most adorable vibe to them and it's hilarious how insanely different these two are and how they probably shouldn't be friends but it still works so well. jun has a tendency to drop romantic one-liners (but only with hao) and hao has a tendency to stare at him totally deadpan in response. it's hilarious. but then minghao will also be like "look, we're wearing couple outfits" and blush when someone points out a clip where mingaho called jun "handsome". I don't know what to do with these two. this video is h i g h l y recommended to watch, and the title says it all; junhao being soulmates (https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=7fk7vbWSWgQ).
