Subscription date billing vs 1st of the month (Patreon)

FYI, Patreon has rolled out the option of subscription date billing.  I will probably enable that in November.  For current Patrons, this changes nothing.  For those who like to check in every couple months, you would be rebilled on the date that you joined rather than on the 1st of the month.  Sometimes, the first of the month billing catches people off guard when they join late in the month, and then they leave me nasty exit surveys about being "overcharged." 😒

The downside is that once I make the change, it is permanent.  So I need to think about it some more before I make up my mind.
