ok... I played with daz animation recent to get Anne to preform a round house kick. How were you able to keep her legs in the right position while squatting?

My experience so far in pinning a position that eventually doesn't maintain is spot

Yeah, the normal power pose pins do nothing in the animation timeline. For the feet, I used ik chains. Those are still fussy. You might also need to lock some side-side, rot, and bend parameters on certain joints to convince the motion calculations to follow the path you want.
