This does not impact me because I do not use Apple products or I have an alternate way to make subscription payments 15

Apple is requiring Patreon to use their in-app purchasing system and remove all other billing systems from the Patreon iOS app by November 2024. For those of you using Apple in-app purchasing system, Apple will be applying their 30% App Store fee on top. When you have a moment, can you please answer the below? Add any questions to the comments and I will reach out to support for more information. Remember, this is NOT an immediate change. We have a couple of months to figure this out.

One important note from the FAQ:
Does Apple’s App Store fee apply to my current memberships?

A: No. Your existing memberships will not be affected by the Apple fee. If a member subscribed to your page in June 2024, for example, in the Patreon iOS app, their future subscription payments will not incur the App Store fee.

The App Store Fee only applies to new memberships purchased in the Patreon iOS app starting November 4, 2024. Your current members and new members who subscribe on other platforms (e.g. mobile web, desktop web, or Android) can continue to interact with your works in the iOS app.
