Changing payment method for New and Existing Patrons from June 22th *Important, read this* (Patreon)

Hey there, first of all, thank you very much for your support on Patreon, it has helped me to develop my own voice in the furry fandom, and, as important, pay my bills.

During my stay here in Patreon I have seen a lot of "freeriders" or bots wich pledge and ammount of money on my patreon account to see our content for free, but they quit shortly before they get charged by Patreon, just by pledge again the next month. Also other accounts have been flammed as "fraud" by Patreon. The percentage of free riders on my patreon is around 15%-30% of the total amount pledged.

Furthermore I have been seen that my exclusive content on Patreon has been released without my authorization on paid sites wich I don´ t have any control nor revenue. Also I have been seen my exclusive content also been released on free sites, without crediting me nor my authorization.

The aforementioned has had negative consecuences not only for me, but for those of you who rightfully pay to see my content, but it´ s also enjoyed by freeriders at our cost without having the exclusivity that Patreon brings to you.

To ammend that, Patreon has enabled the option of "charge upfront" for every creator on Patreon, considering the ammount of bots, freeriders, and fraud accounts that lurks on this page, wich I´ ll implement on June 22th.

Now for my Exisiting Patrons, you´ ll be charged on july 1st, just as usual, there won´ t be any change for you from now on.

Example:A patron joins your Patreon community on January 5th for $10 per month. The patron is charged on February 1st for January patronage. On February 25th, you change your payment type so that patrons are charged up front. The patron will be charged $10 on March 1st for March patronage.

If an existing patron increases their pledge, they will be charged the difference between their last pledge value, and the new pledge value. On the 1st of the month (and every 1st of the month thereafter) they will be charged the full amount of their pledge until they cancel or edit their pledge.

Example:A patron signs up on January 5th for $10/month. The patron is charged on February 1st for January patronage. On February 25th, you change your payment type so that patrons are charged up front. On February 26th, the patron increases their pledge to $15. The patron will be charged $5 on February 26th. Then the patron will be charged $15 on March 1st for March patronage and they will continue to be charged $15 every 1st of the month thereafter until they cancel or edit their pledge.

For new Patrons, you´ ll be charged as soon as you pledge, and every 1st of the month you stay here with me.

Example:A patron joins your Patreon community on February 25th for $10 per month. They will be charged $10 on the day they join, February 25th, for February patronage. On March 1st, the Patron will be charged $10 for March patronage.

TL;DR I´ ll enable Payment upfront starting June 22th. Existing patrons wich don´ t increase their pledge won´ t notice any changes. If existing patrons increase their pledge, they´ ll get charged for the difference between their last pledge value, and the new pledge value. If a new patron pledge, they´ ll be charged right away.
