Fortnightly Update 85: Working in Concert (Poll Ideas Pls) (Patreon)

Hey everyone, welcome to another very productive update! In Art Stuff we've got three different projects on the go (a chonky doggy, some progress on the monthly art and a sneaky foxy project) and Life Stuff features a cool concert and some holiday excitement :)

Also, the next update comes way too close to the monthly poll - so please leave any Halloween themed polled ideas you might have in the comments!

Art Stuff

I've been chipping away at the monthly art, and have so far lined the first panel. I'm hopeful that this weekend i'll have the whole thing lined up and ready to shade:

I've also as of this morning finished the lines on the penultimate commission on my queue! The client requested for her bum to be even bigger, which I happily did :)

And lastly, I have been working on another collab comic with my boyfriend. Featuring him turning into foxy princess Calliope. I've kept the rough outline that he set up, so you can see how i've developed the idea. There's a part two planned too where my maid fox Clara gets some time to shine ;) 

I do feel a little guilty about pouring time into personal projects - I could have finished all my comms by now if I hadn't done the Pokémon thing - but people seem to like them and it brings me a lot of joy, so I'm going to keep at them :) 

That about wraps up art stuff, i'm progressing smoothly but feeling the time pressure a bit thanks to an incoming holiday. Still hoping to open comms again in late October maybe.

Life Stuff

Summer is officially over in the UK and I am loving it - after a crazy heatwave last week, we're immediately down to autumnal temperatures and grey skies. I would be getting more sleep, if it weren't for 6am starts to sneak in some Baldurs Gate 3 with my BF. The game is fully featured in co-op, and I strongly recommend it if you have some long-distance friends :) 

I actually did something cool with local friends yesterday, and went to a concert featuring Hans Zimmer's music. Check out the programme below:

And if you're thinking "hang on, where's Pirates of the Caribbean?" we were too... they saved it for an encore and it was incredible :) 

Sign Off

Less than two weeks now until I drive to Heathrow and board a plane to Nevada. I'm super excited to see my BF again, though I literally had a dream last night that i'd forgot to pack my bags and missed my flight, so the anxiety is real. I don't expect any interruption to Patreon service - though I will likely end up writing the fortnightly update in an airport.

That said, I hope you have a wonderful rest of your September - I'm very hopeful that I will have a finished monthly art for you before the next weekend. Thanks as always for your support - it's you lovely people that enable me to afford these trips to see my boyfriend, and I hope I can keep delivering value to you :)
