Fortnightly Update 54: (Ideas Please) Sneaking Another Collab (Patreon)

Hey everyone! This time we've got a request for festive poll ideas, two art wips (one being a sneaky collab) and a thoughtful Life Update that's probably TMI.

Art Stuff

So, we got December coming up in no time at all, and i'm thinking i'll open the poll up a couple days before the month turns. Currently i've got two ideas (one suggested by Griff) and i'm eager for more:

• Wooly Jumpaca (F -> Anthro Alpaca. Triggered by christmas jumper. Butt Expansion, mild WG)
• Snow Patrol (M -> Anthro Polarbear, via trek through snow to arrive at work)

Please suggest something wintery / christmassy if you'd like!

In terms of currently active art projects, i've gotten around to working on that Milf Burr commission:

That's gonna have an alt for the last panel in a different outfit, hence i'm drawing some of the lines beneath the clothing.

So, that sneaky collab - i reached out to Volkenfox (an artist whose chonky ladies i've envied for a long time) and asked them if I could take one of their sketches and line/colour it. They said yes and here's where i'm at:

It's Teva, their swamp druid OC who caught my eye with her size (and the suggestion that her intoxicating aura might have transformative effects) So far i'm really happy with how i've translated the lines - i'm hoping my softer shading won't clash with Volkenfox's high fidelity design. 

In the background i'm working on a commission/gift for AtariPanther, but it's been on hold while i've been so busy. It's bloody ambitious and i'll hopefully share next time :) 

Life Stuff

Being busy eh? For about a week or so this month I was bragging to people that I had five art projects and one story in progress simultaneously. I totally burnt out again - didn't get depressive, just very drained - but I shoulda seen it coming really. Here in the UK we're getting 8 hours of daylight (sunrise today was 7:45 and sunset 16:05) and it's really feeling kinda bleak around here :P

For those who celebrate Thanksgiving, hopefully you had a good time either with loved ones, friends or by enjoying yourself. This feels like a great time to say thank you for supporting my art and reading this far! (and if you did, for voting Yes to more fortnightly blogs ;p) I hope i'll continue to earn that support, and please do raise feedback if you think I could be doing better!

The biggest thing on my mind other than art (and my job) is the guy I like, it's just under four months till I get to visit America and see him again and it's a real struggle. I find myself thinking about emigration for either me or him and then shooting myself down because it's so monumental and frankly silly. I'm very thankful for him though, and it's been great for my art motivation (including my foray into TF Stories). Expect more cutesy art here and there :)

But yeah, that's the end of another Update! I'll probably post something to celebrate two years of the patreon in a couple days, and the monthly poll won't be far behind - have a lovely weekend :)
