Hey everyone! I've got a couple of WIPs to share this time - a chubby fox and the beginnings of a posh bunny.  That said, i'm feeling burnt out right now, and i'll talk about that in the Life Stuff zone.

Art Stuff

First up, now that i've finally finished that massive Centaur TF commission, i've given myself some time to work on that slime cave fox piece, which is nearly finished: 

I've also started work on a commission for a vanilla furry portrait, of a bunny gal dressed as a character from "Gentleman Jack" ( which appears to be a period drama tv show ):

I've not made much progress, and that's because i'm really tired.

Life Stuff

It's been nine months since I last went through a bad patch of burnout, so I guess i've had a good run - but i'm back to feeling headachey and woozy, and eyestrain is definitely partly to blame. Over the last week i've been having to take naps and even take days off of drawing, and i'm a bit bummed out over it - my main job and both my hobbies ( drawing and videogames ) rely on screen use and having to limit myself on those really sucks.

Ultimately i need to focus on my work-life balance, but i'm pretty sure I can achieve that while still meeting my patreon pledges. The poll finishes tomorrow afternoon, and I might take a couple of days off before I begin sketching it, i'm sure all will be well.

Burnout is real, be safe! One thing that helped me with eye strain specifically was using a blue light filtering program like f.lux or Windows's night mode, but having it on completely ruins your computer's colour balance so it's not very helpful while you're drawing, especially if you draw late at night.

Thanks for the suggestion! I do have Night Light turned on for my desktop, though the thing that triggered this latest wooziness was my samsung tablet - which didn't have eye comfort shield turned on, so i've now activated it :)

I hope you can take some time off and relax a bit. Burnout stinks and I hope you can get some time to yourself to relax and recover.
