Root of Sin - Synkkä (Patreon)

The latest villain for Honey to tackle in our Star Gazing draft.

In addition to the little blurbs written there I had spent an agonizing amount of time coming up with a name for this lad. Since we decided on licorice as a theme for Roux and Synkkä I looked through licorice lore, vampire lore, Finnish folklore and Spanish/French name origins and settled on a loose mix of Finnish, French and Spanish to come up with the name for a very basic and early name for Licorice; Sweet Root/Dark Root.
the 'de Raiz' also was a happy coincidence, channeling the famous real life vampire Gilles de Rais but in this case using the spanish 'Raiz' as it means 'root', felt too perfect to pass up!
