Was brought to my attention from a person on Tumblr who said in laymen's terms.... "wtf is wrong with her face??". So I started to look into it and it was a mix of the subsurface map, base colour map being too strong and normal too strong. In the game there are many textures controlling how her face reacts and wrinkles to her words. This also effects any pose that isn't the resting pose so have to bare that in mind and look at reference. What is also something that will upset the eyes is I use very flat cameras 50mm upwards usually which does flatten the face. So this is the result (top left my render, bottom left in game image), there is always going to be subtle differences as the are rendered not the same way. Plus the lighting is basic on my image. So she's a bit more ready for the spotlight now and hope to churn out some better images. Hope you found this interesting, will be posting more about the batgirl construction soon, massive pain in the nutsack that one as the suit is ridiculously over complicated. Director.
