Update Blog (Patreon)

Dear Patrons,

I'll divide this update blog into two topics:

a) Development progress:

• Lotion IV scene [done!] 🦋
• Lotion V scene [done!] 🦋
• Lotion VI scene  -45%
• Chief scene -0%

The upcoming release will be one of Sasha's huge transitional phases where the scenes will effect the next gameplay in a fundamental level. Now that lotion IV and V scene are done, Lotion VI scene will be directly connected to Chief scene. They will be considered among the longest cutscenes due to their story effect. If I pull this off correctly, after chief scene, the gameplay design will transition more into a slice-of-life-type game where players can experience repetitive events with escalations in each story/mini arc but done in a more proper way. The events will be spread to the whole area of West Pelangi village and players will have full access. The daylight system will also feel more generic based on how many events are done in one day. However, this transition will only be possible after Chief scene in [V.0.2.2]. In other words, the real change can only be seen in [V.0.2.3].

b) Current health status

Having received financial support from you, I naturally consider you all as an important role both for my game development and life. So, I hope you won't mind me sharing personal thingies. To be honest, this might be one of the toughest moments I've ever endured, due to the excruciating pain of the post surgery in the past 10 days. I failed to realize that the wound must be mended in every 2 days and the process is one of the most painful experience I've had in my life. This will keep going on for 1-2 months. It obviously has taken its toll on my mental health which results in me being mentally exhausted. It's been slowing down both my RL job and game's project. 

Perhaps, I'll make it into self-questionnaires to make it simpler:

• Will this game be continued?

Of course, but I cannot promise how fast or how slow I'll go. What's for sure is that I'll keep going as long as I am able to.

• When will the next update [V.0.2.2] be released?

It was supposed to be on August 31st, but due to my tumor surgery, I'm afraid I cannot promise an exact date. (I'm trying very hard so I can still release it this month, but I cannot say for sure.)

• Is the tumor deadly?

It is still under laboratorial observation, the doctor will tell me this week. Pray for me that the tumor isn't dangerous.

• What's actually the main issue here?

The constant pain of the open wound and the excruciating pain whenever the bandage is changed.
