Update Blog (with a Special Comic Release) (Patreon)

How are you? I hope life has been treating you well in these rather tough times happening all over the world.

Related to my work, there is good and bad news.

✨Good news:

It took me a week to do an update blog because I'm guilty of making a comic as a special and bonus chapter. This comic exists as a glimpse of the future of how Sasha's world (Culture shock as a game) will be. For those who'd like to avoid spoilers, don't worry because I personally want you to witness where the game's headed and how Sasha's character will develop by reading the comic. Though it's a sneak peek to the future, it doesn't mean that whatever is in it won't involve story building & crafting 😸. 🙏Bad news:

While programming our next release, there was a little trouble. I couldn't focus at all since my cat passed away. I personally apologize, especially to those who don't have pets and likely would see this as something unrelatable. Consequently, this led into me being careless in coding and it resulted in 2 scenes being mixed and messy. They are still experiencing issues and lack of content as I should have been more careful in writing the program. In result, these are the progress so far:

• Fruit seller scene 2 done 🦋
• Night dine scene 1 (experiencing issues)
• Jogging scene 2 done 🥰
• Fish seller scene 1 done 🍓
• Bus scene 3 (experiencing issues)

I am on my way in fixing them and making a clean path as I go. I hope you can understand and I apologize for any inconveniences. The release for Tier 1 is still planned by the end of this month. Trying my best and I hope the comic above can be a form of compensation.

Misc:

Several potential questions:

1) Why making a comic while developing a game?

• There are several reasons but the main one is to divert my attention once in a while to avoid burnouts or creative blocks.
• There was a generous donation

2) Will the update be big?

• It will be similar with the previous update, but without the design upgrade. Thus, I hope it feels bigger

3) When will this game be finished?

• The story only has reached its 7-9% progress. It's safe to say that it still needs time.

4) Will "The Wishlist" comic be continued?

• Yes, but only one more chapter (act II). Then, I'll be resting from comic making for a while
