this is literally my favorite movie ever, as someone who was born and raised in Louisiana i found myself in Tiana, the representation was much needed, and Ray the firefly he's a cajun and I'm cajun lol so my people and I talk exactly like him. I remember doing a presentation on this movie in film/english class my senior year when I moved away from home and yeah, like ik ts word for word bar for bar 😭 TS MEAN SUM TA ME.

yessss, we lived near the bayou, thats all cajun lands and that's why they were singing that song lol, when they were w ray after louis gave them directions they were literally in my backyard, all the other times w just tiana by herself they were in New Orleans, bayou and marshes and sht is the COUNTRY (hence the accent) and new orleans is the city
