There seem to abit alot of exiting Patrons as of late. Today I lost about 20 out of the blue? it kind of scares me because I feel like I did something wrong. If you guys have any suggestions for me, please let me know in the comment below. I really would like to know and improve it for future work

Eh, the series are kind of slow burn. Doesn't bother me but if I had to guess a reason it'd be that.

You, too 'loose' patrons, when their payment fails for whatever reason.. And as it is payday, this is the most likely cause...

Lunaria

Yea they probably don't have funds

TFSubmissions

Most of the time it's because of out of date payment details or lack of funds or worst case scenario is they only wanted to see your work for free and then pull out at the last day before being charged. It's hard to tell but Patreon has an upfront charge option you can enforce if this happens too often to you. Don't be put down, it has nothing to do with your work flow, it's always fantastic!

hmm i will try to work harder and see how it goes, it is quite demoralizing but i will keep going

I think most of the comments are right, give it a few days for people to update the information, it may not be as bad as you think.

Unlike the others, I have elected to give negative possibilities, instead of their very valid positive ones. I have no idea if these are accurate, but.... If people did leave, there should have been an exit survey they filled out, that gives you an idea of why. It's hidden... somewhere on Patreon's confusing dashboard. Also: Your previous post of having things go on DA for free this month (happy birthday!) may have had something to do with it.. "If we're getting things for free this month, then why pay?" may be the sentiment. Again, it depends on the people and hopefully, they did an exit survey.

Yeah, I'd first check to see if they have left or are simply Pending or Declined.

Its just too pricey to view all your content, $10 is a lot for low income jobs It's also a little slow, but I mean if that's how you operate then its fine, no need to rush!

You are doing great. I think most of those leaving are due to lack of funds. We are coming up on the holiday season and everyone is trying to throw together funds for Thanksgiving and Christmas plus the regular bills and such.

Things are a little slow, but you've given us lots of information as to why, which is greatly appreciated! As to why, many other followers have stated solid reasons, but it could be as simple as loss of interest/supporting too many patreons.

You do great work and I'll continue to follow! You're always bound to lose followers, but that is all apart of your growth. Don't lose your head or confidence over losing people. Keep on focusing on your work and growing as an artist. Everyone who is here as well as posting care about you and love your work. Keep it up, you're awesome!

There are all sorts of things going on. :) I don't think you should beat yourself up. You've not necessarily done anything wrong.I believe in you!

One of those was the fault of really bad timing on my part. I lost my credit card on the 29th, and reporting it lost deactivated it. And then Patreon attempted to charge that deactivated card, which failed. I'm all set with a new card now, and my pledge should have gone through.

meowwithme

whoaa u r fine my man! take it easy :D i hope the card was activated before anything happened! lost my card once i freaked out entire night
