Apologize for the lack of update guys, ever since my kitty passed away I sometimes stare into the blank screen and my head is just filled with memories of him. I never got to sent him off because of how far I live. I went home today and his food tray is filled... like it's waiting to be eaten. I am getting better each day and so I am really hoping to get back to updating content. I will try to post out the drafts I've had first and will get to finishing the pages by upcoming week. Thank you many of you for staying with me and I promise to not let you guys down. Smiles! :D

While dogs may be mans best friend. Cats give you memories that can never be forgotten. Get better in your own time.

Please don't feel bad for being unable to work as efficiently as you usually are. Losing a pet is so difficult. Please take all the time you need, and never forget all the good times you had with your fuzzy friend :,)

Oh… I didn’t hear about this, I’m so sorry… It’s incredibly sad to see pets go…

I don't want this to come across as pushing you to do something. I know that some people can feel guilty about adopting a new cat, like they are replacing the one you lived with. Most animals have shorter than ours, and the world can be cruel out there for them, so we give them a place in our homes, and then a place in our hearts to make it easier for them. There are always new animals that need homes, but all of them will always have a place in our hearts.

Hopefully, in due time, you will be able to open your heart to another fur baby in need of love and care. Some times just volunteering at a local shelter can help .

My friend lost his dog two years ago, he had been his best friend for a good part of his life and as you can imagine he was crushed. I told him to try drawing him, even though he couldn't draw at all i still told him to draw. By drawing him he was happy, not because he lost his dog but because drawing his dog was an emotional outlet, a way to remember him, to remember all the amazing times he had with him. In the end he ended up with a bunch of sketches of his dog that he carries with him everywhere he goes. I would suggest you try to do the same. Drawing helps us lift a weight off ourselves like an idea stuck on our heads or a raw emotion it can be therapeutic

Losing a pet is incredibly hard. My cat Rita died of cancer last year, and it tote me up.

I know how you feel I lost my last cat years ago I still remember how we all reacted to her death it was hard for all of us last time I saw her, She was wrapped up in a pool towel, she has been with us since before I was born, and I’m 26 it was over 10 years till we got new ones. So take all the time you need no one holds it against you.

I will be facing the same soon. My kitty is 16 has a number of health problems over the last year. I know some morning I will wake up, go downstairs to feed her, and she will have passed on in her sleep.

Take your time I had the same issues when my dog passed away

Fully processing losing someone or something close to you isn't something we can always put a time limit on. I hope you give yourself the permission to deal with this at your own pace so that you are more at peace going forward.

Doing things to help you remember your pets is a good idea. Like, I'm thinking about starting a journal for funny incidents I have with a cat if I get one (my living situation doesn't allow for one currently) so that I'll always have it as a momento.

Deepest condolences for your loss. I feel your pain, and my own beloved Shadow returned to the loving arms of Bastet last summer due to cancer. I adopted her from a rescue whaen she was only 8 wks old and she was my constant companion for 9 years. I wrote a memorial to her that just might bring you some comfort:
