A new concept game? (Patreon)

Hello,

As you probably now I want to have a side project as Sofia's Secret it's what I do with the magician game and the Chapter in construction of Sofia's Secret restaurant. I realise that the software that I use (Tyranobuilder) is just ok to create a visual novel but I'm always really frustrated because I can't create event that's look like game that I have in my head ^^

So today I try RPG Maker and I spend all my day to figure out what I want and what I can build with it there is pro and cons of course but I want to make a try without spending time that will affect other project. (Sofia's Secret with one chapter per month/ caption comics and the pics with variations)

Something that I really want to improve is creating more outfit and characters and RPG maker is really great for that also I can have more liberty for the player and use more variables that I like. Make some animation in pixel art. It's here that RPG Maker is not so good the style is really chibi and you can't really see the outfit of the character exept if you create a large bust but it's can't be edited for a generic player so I have to make an unique character but I can't use all the layer and variations that I create...

The universe and the type of game is not define yet I have a lo of idea but each one came with pro and cons so it's not something that wil happen for this month but I will give it a try maybe I can sart with a small project.

Escaping from an haunted house? a Sim date in an hotel? A dungeon with a boss battlle at the end of course evevry project will be ABDL ^^ Expecially the first one.

So there is a lot of interrogation but I'm hype for a new project :) I always love to create and make a game will be amazing!

For tomorrow I will work on the Sofia back to shcool pic and variations if you need more info of what will come this week I send you to the last post since I think this one is  too long^^

To have this time to create is because of you so welcome to all new patrons and thank you so much evryone :)

Rpg maker? What version. I happened to have made templates for the sprites. Granted I never finished sprites with it. But id willing to give them out to help the project out.

Just finish the first set of projects before starting new stuff. Its never fun to be waiting for the first group of projects to be finished. And worst the feeling that they are being abandoned. Both of your side project in Sofia (magician game and Secret restaurant) are fun but need to be cleaned up and full game models. I hope you don't become to side track.

Thank you very much for your honest comment ^^ Maybe I was not very clear when I explain stuff and I think it's because of my barrier language. I'm not satisfied of the Magician and the restaurant as gameplay and development not as game that I really like. So be able to use a different software is to include them in this project. Actually I will add the restaurant as a chapter of Sofia's Secret and for the magician game it doen't have this place in the game but all CG and materials (text) can be easly converted in a different software game. Also I start to want to create a visual novel 2 years ago but we start the Sofia project in August and at the beginning it's just has to be 3 chapter and go to a different project. That I did not realise at this time it's the learning curve of the different software, as a creative it's important for me to create. So don't worry I will not give up about this different project (Magician and restaurant) as precious ressourse they will be added I different way :)
