So, hey guys. This week's post is a little different. I'm actually still working on it, since I started it only saturday, but I wanted to showcase the amount of work it takes to learn some new techniques (and also, that I'm really proud of how this one is shaping up). I took some inspiration on Quadratouring's anatomy and overall muscle structure and some of The Muscle Girl Fan's shading hue's and tried to adapt them to my style, while also starting to use some different techniques I picked up.

Firstly, the initial frame is from a software called DesignDoll, which I recommend to anyone who has trouble drawing poses while keeping proportions or perspective. It's really simple and free!

Secondly, I am trying out grayscale as a shading method. I never really understood why would I color anything in gray only to paint over it again, but I see now how you can do it with minimal effort and keeping a nice, easy to edit shading layer. I dig it, but don't know if I'll use it always.

Anyway, the full picture and PSD will be posted here sometime this week. Also, stay tuned for a special poll this wednesday!
