Hey folks, I've been thinking about trying my hand at more 3D art again recently, as it's something I've always wanted to really get better at, and the world could really use some more 3D Animated Asura.

But anyway, the point is that it's a pretty drastic undertaking creating models from nothing, and doing all the texturing and rigging too can be a challenge on the schedule.

So would you be OK with my weekly output occasionally being Works-in-Progress of a 3D model I may be working on? I'd likely just alternate between 2D and 3D sometimes if I did start work on a model.

I'd also like to try some stuff that's not Asura, but, say, Goblins and Vulpera already have such good models that are easy to get a hold of that they wouldn't take nearly as long to get up and running.

I've put a poll on this post so you can voice your opinion without needing to comment if that suits you.

I would love to see your style translated into 3d. Would be interesting to see

Sorry, I'm a dirty fencesitter

I suppose all three choices are middle-grounds, really. I just wanted to know how much I should potentially commit to some 3D art.

I would love to see some 3d asura stuff, but I'm a huge nitpick when it comes to the actual quality. Lack of backgrounds or badly imported backgrounds, rampant disregard of basic animation principles and how joints work, weird interactivity between models, but especially texture sizes are bothersome since people pick and choose different preexisting models and just mash them together like a child with different brand toys. All of that might sound super negative, but I'm not! If you think you can avoid the obvious pitfalls and deliver adorable asura to boot then I'm all in!
