I wasn't really fond of the Idea of the devil on the HC universe, also the end of "Worms on a ring" left a potential that I think was cut short on this

This short certainly isn't canon. Wyatt is writing a sequel and M'reza will be in it.

I read it and enjoyed it, the ending was more or less how I expected it to go but the explanation after the action happened was a good twist of the knife. I'm just bad at commenting generally.

It was an interesting short. I'm definitely glad it's not cannon, although terable outcome I would have hoped he already learned a lesson to think things through more. Could be neat if this was a odd dream he had to drive home he should consider his actions more carefully, I would wonder if he would actually learn anything from it. There was a sort point I thought he would really reflect and think about his actions but it does seem like his hate and impulsive nes is very ingrained
