The Magician is underway! I've been tinkering with the designs of the robots in this project for the last couple of years, but the Magician has largely remained unchanged.

In the original Magician card, he stands before a table with four objects representing the four suits of a classic tarot deck. The four objects there are the "robot-ified" versions of the four suits: Rods (Wands), Gears (Coins), Oil (Cups), and Blades (Swords), along with the alchemical symbols of the four classical elements they each represent (Fire, Earth, Water, and Air respectively). I also read that the magician's hand positions represent their ability to make connections of energy between the heavens and the earth, so I made them literally making an energetic connection via a power cable.

EDIT #1: After doing some more research and consulting, I changed quite a few aspects of the cards, both the general layout and the Magician by itself. For starters, I decided to change the "Wands" symbol from "Rods" to "Wires". Besides being more "machine-themed" and easier to notice, the suit of Wands is associated with the element of fire, and since wires generally send electricity from one place to another it seems more thematically appropriate. I also swapped the big thick cable from earlier to a pair of electrodes which the Magician is connecting using their fingers. A much more dramatic and magician-like means of connecting energy, don't you think?
