Hello everyone. First of all, I just wanted to announce that I will be opening commission slots starting tomorrow.

With that said, I need to address something regarding Patreon Rewards...

My recent change in Patreon Tiers has been pretty successful, and I've even gotten a few new patrons recently. However, I'm started to realize that I've bitten off more than I can chew regarding Patreon Rewards. I've always prided myself in being able to deliver quality sketches at a quick pace for my clients. However, by offering 3 character sketches for High Rollers, and having 10 High Rollers as of this writing, that means I'd have to make thirty sketches per month for High Rollers alone. While I could, theoretically do that, it would leave me little time to do anything else, and would quickly lead to burnout. Clearly, I have not thought this whole thing through.

Before I go any further, I wish to stress that I am not blaming any of you for wanting sketch rewards that I have offered, nor am I going to cancel any Patreon rewards I have yet to finish. This is entirely by my own shortsightedness, and I'm going to try and work out a solution where I can reward Patrons accordingly without overwhelming myself with work.

I have a few ideas: Perhaps lowering the number of sketches per tier, or even removing some tiers altogether, or just tweaking the rewards a bit. For example: instead of offering three sketches a month, High Rollers could choose to either get one or two sketches, or the chance to have a previous reward of theirs inked and/or colored.

Either way, my ultimate goal is to be able to deliver commissions, original art, and Patreon rewards at a reasonable pace where my patrons feel they're getting their money's worth.

What do you all think? Do you have any suggestions or ideas? Either way, thank you everyone who has supported me thus far!

I think the reduction to two or the coloring of a precious work would definitely be a good supplement to the previous reward tier of High Roller

If I'm being honest, I've been in the High Roller tier since May and haven't heard anything from you regarding sketches, but I just like supporting you and have for a while. So if the tier rewards change, that's cool. I do like the idea of getting a sketch one month and getting it colored the next month though.

I'm terribly sorry about that; I've been very distracted these last few weeks and haven't been as diligent about that as I used to be. If you'd still like some sketches, jsut send me a PM and I'll make it up to you.

It's cool. I know things have been super hectic for EVERYBODY as of late, so I don't blame you at all. I did have something in mind I wanted though, so I'll DM you in a bit once I gather up some references. :)

I think like Michael Rodriguez. For "high roller", go from three sketches to two or leave the choice for one of a previous sketch in colorized version. And do the same for the other categories. And you're right to do that now rather than waiting for a crisis to happen. Because we'd all lose, you and us. Finding a balance is essential to last a long time. And you also need to get rid of the old categories as soon as possible, it can confuse some people.

It seems fair to reduce some of the stuff you're offering. If you burn out on free sketches then there's no time for anything else and then what's the point.

My suggestions is to reduce the high roller to be just 2 sketch’s per month instead of three and I agree with the idea of giving the option to color said sketch’s for the next month. (I am biased as I always normally commission 2 characters interacting together)
