You've probably noticed by now that I haven't posted anything for the "Ink-Vent Calendar" I announced before. Unfortunately, between commissions, Patreon rewards, and some personal stuff popping up, I haven't found time to work on the Ink-Vent pictures. So, unfortunately, I'm going to postpone it indefinitely. I'm terribly sorry for anyone who was looking forward to it.

To be honest, I've been thinking a lot recently about Midweek Moleskines and the future of my Patreon. I started doing Midweek Moleskines because I wanted to provide my patrons with a steady stream of content. I really enjoyed all the feedback I've gotten, and I feel it's helped bolster both my views and my own personal artistic drive. But now, looking back after 2 years and over 240 drawings later, I realize that a large majority of my gallery consists of sketches. Besides commissions and rewards, I actually have very few full-colored personal pieces made, and more than once I've looked back through my gallery and found a piece I totally forgot I had posted. Overall, it feels as if my gallery has started to become more about quantity rather than quality.

I think starting next year, once I'm done with all my commissions, I'm going to focus more on fully-developed pieces, and experiment with color and painting more. Midweek Moleskines might be something posted less often (maybe once a month at most) in favor of more finished works. I definitely want to ink and color a lot of my previous Moleskines.

I know I change things around here a lot, but I've always been experimental when it comes to art, and I'm thankful that you all have been so patient and constructive.

Thanks again for reading and enjoy your holidays!

Nothing wrong with spending time to perfect your talent and your skills. Quality over quantity, and people will come.
