Midweek Moleskine: MLP Kelpies (Patreon)

A while back I wanted to try and make MLP versions of other mythical equine creatures not already featured in the show. My goal was to make something that could realistically be seen on the show itself without deviating too much from the original mythology.

Here we have kelpies, sea creatures from Scottish myth that take on the form of a friendly horse to entice people to ride on their backs, only to leap into water to drown and devour them. Here, I made a couple different styles of kelpie- one is simply a race of half-pony, half-crustacean creatures who live on both land and water. The other is slightly more monstrous creature, though I haven't figured out what their deal is.
