Just a quick heads-up- I'll be postponing Midweek Moleskines for this month to focus on Ink's Warming Eve as well as commissions (of which I have about 3 or 4 left). Midweek Moleskines will be coming back on New Year's.
Speaking of New Year's, I've got a couple big changes for my Patreon in the works:
- Midweek Moleskines will be available for all patrons, $1 and above, after New Year's.
- Patreon rewards will only be available for $5 patrons and above. I'm doing this to try and balance both my workload and my regular content output. So $1 patrons will no longer get a free single-character pencil sketch for their patronage, but you will gain access to MMs and all my artwork 1 month in advance, which I feel is more than a fair trade-off.
- All rewards will be bumped one tier higher, so $5 patrons will get a single-character pencil sketch, $10 patrons will get a two-character sketch, $20 will get a single-character ink, $30 will get a two-character ink, and $50 will get a single-character color pic. If you're still waiting on a Patreon Reward, don't worry- you'll still get it as it is, but any new patrons after New Year's will get rewards based on the new system instead.
- I have a lot of unfinished comics and other original pieces that I'd like to focus on next year, so while commissions will still be offered, fewer slots will be available. But just so no-one feels completely left out, I'll also offer polls for higher-tier patrons to participate in that will effect commissions, such as themes (anthro, sci-fi, fantasy, etc), mediums, (sketch, ink, color, etc) or layouts (character busts, character sheets, icons, etc). Poll results will effect the type and number of commissions available- generally, the more pricey or complex the subject matter, the fewer slots.
And that's about it. I have a few other ideas for the future, but I'll save them for the future.
As stated, these new policies will be put into action after New Year's next year. If you have any comments, questions, or suggestions, feel free to leave them in the comments below!
