I'm not a fan of really bloody, gory art in general, though one subset of gore art that I do like is the sort of stylized, cartoony "fruit gore" or "candy gore" I've seen in the furry fandom, where a character is chopped up or disemboweled but their insides are stylized to look like fruit, candy, or some other colorful substance. I've wanted to try something like it myself, but wanted to do something different, so I gave this nameless bull terrier some technological guts and giblets. For now I'm calling it "Tech Gore".

This was largely inspired from last year when I was upgrading my computer tower with a new power supply, which involved disconnecting it from multiple cords and cables strewn throughout the computer. Once it was disconnected and I carefully pulled the whole thing out, cables dangling, I felt like I had just removed some kind of mechanical heart or organ from inside a cadaver. A bit silly, perhaps, but its those silly thoughts I often have that lead to drawings like this.

Reminds me of replacing my own Power Supply. Wires and everything. Funnily enough, it died when I attempted to Watch Black Dynamite. It just couldn't handle that much Black Power!
