Midweek Moleskine: "Angels" (Patreon)

Another previously-mentioned zombie variant, the "Angel". With a rictus grin, stringy hair and grisly "wings" made from their own flayed and stretched-out flesh, they seek out mortals who they deem worthy of salvation. Don't worry about being left behind when they come, though- they are very forgiving.

These are probably the least zombie-like of my zombie variants, at least physically and mentally, in that they're capable of thought, speech, and using tools. They're more zombies in a "spiritual" sense, in that they mindlessly hunt down and turn other humans into more of them. I personally feel like that's what separates a "zombie" from the "undead" umbrella; a creature whose only goal is to increase its numbers by spreading to others, like a virus but deadlier.
