The Vidiians were a species found in the Delta Quadrant. For two millennia, the entire race suffered from a disease called the Phage that ate skin and internal organs, and damaged their DNA. They were considered with the Borg and Species 8472 as the prime examples of hostile species encountered by Voyager in Delta Quadrant.
