I have visions of HK-47 dancing through my head with this chapter. A powerful, utterly loyal, and obedient little bodyguard and killer for Gothic, ready to do his bidding no matter what it is.

I hope you like the chapter. I could have spent multiple chapters alone in this world, but decided to be quick about it. As always, from the bottom of my heart thank you for supporting this story and my writing. Without your support, this fic would a shadow of what it is today. After you guys read, let's discuss in the comments! :-)

If I had to take a wild ass guess, I would say that the Collectors have come to harvest Holy Terra. Gothic will have to purge the mutant, the heretic, and the aliens in holy fire.

DarkestCalling

Liked the chapter feel immensely disappointed when you mentioned HK and he wasn't in star wars though and tbh the end to the jumps feels really abrupt like I kinda get it but it just felt like from him getting the option to jumping was just rushed through same kinda with the whole chapter just felt like it was almost bulldozed through

War sage

While I liked the chapter it felt very rushed though with Gothic having the ability to jump in the future there are more adventures in the future.....damn Natasha is one of a kind and I fear if she gets her own body. I do like the tech Gothic has gotten. It seems though bugs have launched an assault on the sol sector.

Great chapter. Not much could be done with I, Robot, but came out better than anything I was predicting. I was thinking he would be hanging out with Spooner the whole way. But thinking about it, that wasn’t really in character for Gothic’s mercenary ways of getting things done. Really looking forward to the next chapter! Hoping Gothic flies in like Master Chief from Halo.

IT was an HK equivalent. As I've said many times in the past, Gothic is highly unlikely to ever go to the Star Wars dimension. It feels almost heretical to do something as direct as going to the SW universe in a Star Trek fanfic. The NS-5 design is a way for Gothic to create his own HK. I've planned on this chapter for probably 6 months now and it was always intended to be a quick one. The chaos he caused last chapter, beyond just derailing some canon events, will change that dimension's future for thousands of years. IT had to be acknowledged. Thanks for comment and your support!

Joseph Orlando

This chapter was always intended to be a quick in and out. There was literally only one thing that realistically was worthwhile for Gothic to obtain, after all. Yes, his daughter's are picking up traits from their father. The Collectors, like the Dominion, realize just how important Earth is to the Federation and just how undefended it is with Federation complacency. Thank you for your longtime support, War Sage!

Joseph Orlando

This universe was always intended to be quick, because while cool, it literally only has one thing that Gothic would want. (And no, Gothic would never view banging one hottie, like Dr. Calvin, as a worthwhile trip.) That's the NS-5 design. With those designs, he has an easily reproducible military, police force, security, guards, assassins, cooks, whatever he wants. All completely loyal to him. HE can pop them out on an assembly line, immediately combat ready with some easy uploadable data to serve in whatever role he designates. The NS-5's alone would be worth the trip on their own. Add in Dr. Lanning and you've got a serious windfall for Gothic. With a genius like Dr. Lanning he could have replicators in a few years. The NS-5's are going to be (eventually) Gothic's answer to the Dominion's jem'hadar, but it's something he'll have to keep secret as much as possible for a long, long time. I will share a secret. Gothic, like me, is a big fan of the fanfic, Stargate: Galactic Imperium, and that dude made use of the NS-5s. Thank you for your longtime support! :-)

War sage

Question how do you intend to explain Dr Lanning looking like Cochrane?

jeff027

You should add into it it’s based off a book as well Irobot by Isaac Asimov. Conversation Gothic has with Dr. Alfred Lanning

Durdens Wrath

I liked it. Short and sweet. Not padded. Glad to be back in the Alpha quadrant

James Wise

That was quick! And efficient! And yet ending with that new mystery to solve. I liked the chapter! Thank you fir the story!

Random McRandomPants

Argh, I want more! I stopped reading this story for a while because the MC was starting to seem like a Gary Stu who got all the ladies, but picking it up again I started getting into the vibe of it, especially since Gothic doesn’t know exactly what’s coming, so he isn’t able to fix everything. On a side note, I know that you have a dedicated tier for making suggestions, but what if someone posts a suggestion in a lower tier but you really like it?

Joseph Orlando

I am open to all suggestions. I often have to weigh how it will effect the story, though. A lot of the time a suggestion will make Gothic so OP that it will kill the story. I can't do that. OTher times, I've said damn, that's a good idea, and I'll use it.

Nice update. I like the way you left the option to later do another multiverse trip. The Battle of Sector 001 has begun. Do you plan to have the Tempest play a larger role in the battle then in the first story? Page 35 on its feet like a human wood. - would, though it did make me think of Pinocchio there. Page 49 Captain of the starship in orbit - Captain of a starship At least I think that would be better as it is not like he is looking though his telescope as Geordi locks it on to the Enterprise E… lol Page 72 I beamed directly into Dr. Lanning’s luxurious Stateroom. - Unless I am mistaken literally everywhere except the Bridge, Engineering and B’Elanna’s quarters are full of their mined loot, I think they recycled all the furniture.

Daddy Ivan

Oh fuck yea what a cliffhanger, if he goes at max speed with the slipstream drive next chapter, he’ll be able to have the federation by the balls Great chapter. Looking forward to more

red demon

I'm glad this chapter was quick. While it was fun to have Gothic hop through the multi-verse I'm glad to see them get back home. Dr. Lanning joining them will be interesting, even though they're going right in to battle

Mr Mouse

Eh, Brent Spiner has been Data, Adam Soong, Altan Soong, Arik Soong, Noonien Soong; Between the limited number of possible permutations on human appearance, the data lost in the Eugenics Wars, the fact that without the Borg, First Contact, the movie, never happens, and if all else fails, the old stand by of Nunya, they should be fine

Joseph Orlando

Gothic possessing the slipstream drive is something he needs to hide to the best of his ability. An elder civilization having some kind of ultra advanced propulsion technology is one thing, just a single human with no civilization behind him, no vast fleets, the powers that be of the alpha quadrant, including Section 31 would hunt him down and take it from him. Gothic is individually very powerful, but he's one guy and one ship. He needs to be very paranoid when it comes to the advanced technology he possesses. Glad you liked the chapter! :-)

Joseph Orlando

That will be quite the welcome for Dr. Lanning. Though Gothic was sure to talk about how evolved Earth has become, he wouldn't sugarcoat that there is still plenty of conflict to be had.

Joe don't forget about the Community Chat room we've been posting in that but haven't had any response
