Rau played her part well in holding off Sonja for as long as she could; only then did Damsel take the opportunity to strike. Dragons possessed hypnotic powers to bend the mind, and while Sonja was so focused on Rau, it left her open and allowed Damsel to get through to break Sonja out of her mad state. It was the first time Damsel displayed more capability than she let on.

Damsel coming in the save rau for a change is pretty fitting since she's had rau doing that all along
