Gilga would be the one to take Lupa's arm as she felt guilty for what had happened to lupa and the corruption that was gradually encroaching on her. Not only did dire lycans have skin like armour, but she was the only one strong enough to cut clean through the limb.

Being aware that lupa would probably feel unworthy or useless to serve her any longer. Gilga promised to support Lupa during this and strengthen her beyond what she was.
