There was always something mysterious about Fen. She was a gifted lycan who seemed to be able to change forms effortlessly and didnt need training to tame her inner beast. However, Fen was unaware of her past; although she shared Dire's blue skin tone, she was not inherited in terms of stature or marks. Both Lupa and Gilga were drawn to this.

Gilga discovered her in the wilderness and took her into her pack to give her a place to call home, but also to keep a watch on her. For a while, Fen was welcomed into the queen's pack and lived there as family; however, that would soon come to an end, and Fen would never be allowed to enter the queens territory again once her collar was removed.
