Preview: Full of Seamen (erotic adventure game) (Patreon)

So I've referred to this little project intermittently over the past half year or so. In short, for those who don't remember - I'm working on an erotic adventure game called Full of Seamen, which I intend to release on my Patreon in installments. There won't be any change to my Sims output, that will go on as always! However, I've long wanted to make something that combines most of my professional passions - so, a dash of narrative game design here and there, resulting in this late-night project.

Game-wise, it's somewhere in the sweet spot between a visual novel, a choose-your-own-adventure game and an adventure game. You play as either a man or a woman who find themselves on a strange cruise to nowhere, with some exceedingly odd characters. It's up to you to find out what's going on - and a lot of that finding out is through erotic interactions. Your choices matter, what you say and what you do to - and with - the characters has consequences. I want it to be both funny and sexy and slightly silly, sort of like my Sims animations. Also scary. The whole gamut, basically. A slow burn where you work towards something.

The game is built up out of hundreds and hundreds of stills, to make them seem more alive and avoid the static talking screens prevalent in visual novels. This means it's taken quite a long time to get ready as some of these images are particular bitches to render, especially the ones involving a lot of 'fluids'. And since there are different results based on whether you play as a man or a woman, it means making two versions of every sex scene as every combination is catered for.

I'm working towards releasing the first chapter in the next two months. It'll be available on the $5 tier, with early and expanded access for the $10 tier. I will phase $10 requests towards a $15 tier over time, to make them a bit more manageable (which won't impact current requests, of course), but this will be addressed in more detail in a future post.
