The latest build of Ravager has been released! It's a big one, considering that only a week has passed. I'm particularly proud of making a start on the new user interface, although it will be tweaked and improved as we go on. It's available over at my Itch.io page.

In our weekly poll, our patrons have voted for the Chapter 4 interlude next - with a view to starting work on the rest of the Chapter afterwards. If you'd like to participate in polls and you're not already on Discord, please join!

You're probably wondering what Chapter 4 development looks like. Well, so that I don't disappear for a couple of months while I attempt to produce it in one go, it'll have a staged rollout.

Later in version 2.4, we'll have a look at what's happening over in the Regent's castle. This will arrive very shortly.

In version 2.5, we'll be dealing with the ambush's aftermath: appointing a new leader of the kobolds (if your previous minion was killed by Maelys), having a nice word with our captive huntress (if she survived the battle), and forming your war council.

That leads us up to version 3.0. This update is a big one, and may take me some time to complete - but I'll continue to push out builds with new scenes, art, and voice acting for Chapter 3 while I'm doing so. It'll include a strategic approach to conquering the realm, with many options in how you wage your war. What you do here will be very important later on: I recommend having some hordes ready, and making your choices wisely.

Once we've got the realm conquered (or at least parts of it), it's time to take on the capital - and the Regent that awaits there. This will appear in version 3.1, with one of my trademark cliffhanger endings.

That will be resolved in version 3.2, with the defeat of Balthorne (one hopes). The kingdom will be yours. And you'll have a chance to be reunited with Princess Adeline in version 3.3, following soon after.

Then... then we can start talking about Chapter 5.
