Hello, Shadow Portal Team here with you, and today we have a small poll for you. One of our fans suggested a great idea — to find out how good our playerbase knows the StarCraft universe!

It seemed to us like not only a great idea, but also a fun one. We figured that you would like to know the statistics too, to find out how many know the source material for our game and how many were introduced to StarCraft by SlutCraft. Well, that's what we!

Our game director - is a rather extraordinary person and a special case. Let's give him the floor! "For me, StarCraft is not just a game, it is more like my guide to the world of games. Time for a small story from my childhood. I didn't have a PC for most of it and I got one when I was in 8th or 9th grade. As you might imagine, it didn't have the best hardware either. Nevertheless, I was always fascinated with computer games and satisfied this desire in computer clubs. Still, you might be wondering how Starcraft became so important to me. It was the first strategy I've ever played. The first time I launched StarCraft, a whole new world stood before me. You might imagine what I experienced. Every session I learned something new together with my close friend who was teaching me the game while playing against bots. Beating a hard bot was an achievement for us, while I was constantly fascinated with how a bot could stand its own against two humans. With time my experience grew, I learned new tactics and strategies. Of course, the Zerg were my favorite species. We would spend whole days in computer clubs. Then we discovered user-made maps. I can't even remember most of them, but we played each one we found. I couldn't even imagine that eventually, I would have a chance to make something so grandiose and amazing about my favorite universe, all thanks to a team of enthusiasts and experts, of course. Obviously, I'm choosing the first option in the poll, and proudly call myself one of the most devoted StarCraft fans." - Arthur, founder of the SlutCraft project and the Shadow Portal studio.
