Hello, we often get messages from you about the upcoming Sarah's transformation. Many, oh so many of you wish we introduce the possibility to leave Sarah in her current state (no mutations), and the ability to finish the entire game in her human form. We spent a looong, a very loooooooooooooong time discussing this and thinking of different ways and solutions that can solve this problem. We came to the conclusion that the best way would be to make two completely different routes, which would mean twice as much development time, which is unacceptable, and would split the community, everyone would want their favourite route to be developed faster... And here we are at an impasse. Every solution we came up with eventually led to the same thing, an increase in the amount of work and creation of several routes. But yesterday, an apple hit me on the head, and I immediately understood the essence of life. I discovered knowledge previously unknown to even exist, and I found a way to make the next part of the game both the way you want and without a huge time cost. I rejoiced and immediately wrote down the idea, but even the revelation I experienced wasn't enough for me to come up with a solution that wouldn't lead to our game becoming even more of an AU, but I want to assure you, it's not groundbreaking or anything. It's just a couple of our ideas, a concept, you could say, and it could very well happen in the SC universe.

So what's below are HUGE spoilers about the future of the game in general. If you don't want to know that, it's time to stop reading this and just vote, whether you give us the green light to implement our ideas or not.

So, those who don't want to know the next phase of development are gone, so now we can tell you our idea. Firstly, we want to make Sarah have 2 forms, normal Sarah, and Queen of Blades (QB) Sarah, though it won't be her final QB form, of course. After her transformation, Sarah doesn't change forever, she just becomes able to take the form of QB, for a while, after which she turns back to her terran self. Of course there will be a lot of unique mechanics and events/dialogues/scenes depending on how often you transform, and of course unique scenes for each form. The way we see it will involve very juicy scenes, and we only told you the basics. The main problem with this solution is that, well Sarah can transform (almost) at will, and it seemed a little AU, but we thought that it could be plausible, since her body is unstable a the moment and could be constantly mutating and maybe later she will be stabilized. Or not. As far as the plot goes, Sarah will need to earn the Swarm's trust, heh, I think you guessed how, no Stukov, only our beloved Zerg, heh-heh-heh. So that's about it, we want to make the player be able to play both the normal Sarah, and QB Sarah, and let them choose.

As suggestion, maybe you guys have thought about this before, why not have 2 different sprites? 1 as normal and 1 and QB and have them do the exact same scenes in parallel and we can toggle which form to use? Same dialogue and running her with QB dialogue. That way if she’s in her normal form, the game still plays as if she’s in her QB form but we visually will see her human form if wanted? Kind of like in other games when you can toggle helmets on/off but still get the effects of the helmet.

No, that would take away the uniqueness of either H scene by simple pallet swaps of the Sarah. Each form should have their own unique scenes.
