Hey Carlos, wonderful work as always ! You’re killing it ! May i know how you organize your self when drawing the pages you storyboarded ? Like do you go in order from 1 to 27 or do you begin with the « hardest to draw » first ?

Don

Nice work, good that you continue to show your process, very handy.

I’d love to see if you had any other ideas for Kamala stretching her neck out to the side. Like seeing idea sketches while brainstorming that part of the script could be fun! I always have trouble brainstorming and could use some tips!

That was my first idea actually, I didn't try any other poses/layout. I just went with it. So sadly I don't have any other sketches of this particular one, sorry! But I feel you, I had some trouble with an action panel in issue FF20, and I did a lot of poses for different characters until I found the ones that worked. My advice would be: _ Before drawing anything, think about what you want to happen in the panel as if it were a movie scene: The angle of the camera, far, close, the position of characters, etc. _Envision each particular character (stay in model: Keep in mind their personalities/habilities) doing the action. As if they were actors and you were directing them. The Thing won't punch the same way, Mr. Fantastic would for example. And Jonny Storm won't stand still the same way, The Thing would. _Then start sketching, put the characters in the space they are going to occupy on the page, choose the action and the way they are going to act it out. And just draw keeping all those things in mind. I find if I have a clear idea of what the character is doing, the attitude and personality, abilities, etc. I have an easier tie drawing whatever is happening. Instead of just jumping in because I feel like drawing a big character punching toward the reader. Hopefully it makes sense!😅
