These are some other suggestions that I really want to get into!

Wow can't go wrong with either one.

Never seen Last Picture Show myself, so I can't say much about it. American Graffiti I have seen and I'll be honest, I thought it was incredibly boring. The actors are fine but there is really no story or plot. Just a bunch of little side stories that kinda/sorta relate?? I don't care for the movie myself but I would be interested to see/hear your opinion from a filmmaker's perspective. There has to be a reason this movie is so iconic. I just can't figure out what it is.

It's the music. The soundtrack sold bananas numbers and was kind of the forerunner to Saturday Night Fever as far as soundtrack sales go. The movie? I think the whole concept depends on it being plotless. It's a cruising slice of life thing. I also don't particularly love it, but it's... fine.

Emily Smith

Yeah, the music was fine. Wolfman Jack is a bit annoying talking over it but...I love 50's-60's music so yeah, the music is a redeeming feature.

Paul Cox

Speaking of the music, that's another thing to consider when editing for youtube. It will be a NIGHTMARE.

David W Richards

American Graffiti is the collaboration between film makers George Lucas and Francis Ford Coppola before each became world famous...Lucas for the Skywalker family saga and Coppola for the Corleone family saga. Harrison Ford's appearance in this movie is probably the major reason why he got the role of Han Solo when Lucas cast Star Wars.

Both great films for different reasons, but I'm going with The Last Picture Show because it won't be as much of a copyright nightmare to edit!

I often want to recommend "A Hard Day's Night" but it seems like it would be impossible to clear. I'd love it if someone could explain how "music reactors" can play videos without an issue but soundtracks usually need to be scrubbed by "movie reactors".

I had such a crush on Cindy Williams. How could she like Ron Howard?!?!?! I mean, I'm cuter and much stronger.... And I don't have red hair!!!! Except for that time I passed out in a punch bowl.
