We're doing High School movies in May! I needed to shake it up I was getting tired of the same reactor stuff! This week we start with High School in the 50s and I think it'll be fun to put the decades against each other! VOTE VOTE :) 

Important Edit!! I have seen Grease, just never really with that eye on the filmmaking! Used to watch when I was a kid!! 

PS. It'll be High School in the loosest sense I'm not overthinking any of this

I haven't seen Cry Baby since I saw it in the theater, but even my incredibly hazy memories of it are far more fun than a contemplation/consideration of Grease for the millionth time.

You being a musical fan I'm sure you would enjoy Grease more. Personally not a fan. Personally I would recommend American Graffiti although it's set in 1962 it inspired the show Happy Days which was set in the 50s.

On the subject of high school, I wonder where Romy and Michelle's High School Reunion would fit in here. And I guess I also wonder if it's aged well. I haven't seen it in a long time, but Shanelle seems to have a favorable opinion on 90s films, and I remember it being uniquely funny/strange.
