I think that you feel like Anakin is so mature and different from the movies...but towards the end of the Clone Wars series, particularly the last Season, it leads right into the events of Episode 3 and you know why Anakin turns so much more. This show does such a good job of showing off Anakin's subtle ways of breaking the Jedi Code leading up to his turn.
