I'm starting to feel very stretched thin in regards to needing to have something to post every week while also trying to put my heart and soul into a game, even after attempting to scale weekly stuff down a bit. I know that regular posts are probably the main draw for most of you, but it makes getting enough work done on a long-term project very challenging, and the worst-case scenario is one where neither the small nor the big stuff is getting enough attention, leading to everything just being mediocre. I'm not saying I'm going to make any immediate changes, but it's something I'm definitely going to have to re-examine after the game comes out.

As for the game, all of the art is finally done, which is by far the most significant milestone for me (art is far more difficult/time consuming/anxiety inducing for me than anything else). The rest ranges from mostly done to partially done. I've stared at this whole thing for long enough that I really have no idea what anyone is going to think of it, but it is what it is I guess.

I really hate writing essays like this but I feel like I owe it to you guys to let you know what's going on. Thank you for sticking with me

Fetid Boon

Definelty focus on doing what you can. Good content takes time and it'll be done when it's done. Definetly appreciate the honesty and (at least for me personally) i would prefer whatever has to happen for things to be done rather than the weekly grind for the sake of it.

sad hammerhead

I know saying this never helps anyone; but try not worrying too much fam! Everyone that's got your back here is gonna stay and everyone that doesnt isnt, that is largely outside of your hands. For me, as the others said, I think your strength really lies in bigger endeavours than (just) weekly pieces. They are appreciated of course but if you feel like you cant keep em up for WHATEVER reason, do not hestitate to just not, we got your back anyhow :). Take it easy!
