Jackary Archives Day 169 - Zelda and Hilda Pastel Goth Underwear (Patreon)

Today's Archives post is a doozie, with 44 different variants of Zelda and Hilda from A Link Between Worlds in some cute underwear!

Zelda and Hilda have appeared once in the Archives without any clothes at all, but I think this is a scenario where more is more... enjoy all these different images with Zelda and Hilda in panties, bras, stockings, fishnets, and more!

ARTIST NOTES

One thing I've learned is that drawings go a lot faster when you don't have to worry about layers. When I'm entirely unburdened by the prospect of having to create multiple clothing layers that all play well with each other and I only need to worry about the end result, I can create a piece like this in ~ten hours.

...That being said, there are times where having a complex file with tons of layers really works, and I think this piece is one of them.

This was a commission of Zelda and Hilda wearing pastel goth outfits, but somewhere along the way, the commissioner also ordered underwear variants. This adds a lot of planning to the drawing -- it involves drawing nude bases, rendering them completely, drawing underwear, rendering it too, and then the full outfits, and making them all compatible with each other. This is much easier said than done!

But boy, is it awesome when it works out. I really love the underwear variants of this piece. I think the star of the show here is Hilda, who's wearing one of the best underwear designs I think I've ever made (and I've designed a lot of underwear in my artwork).

The idea behind Hilda's panties were to be a more practical, realistic version of these Triforce panties that I designed for Goth Zelda long ago. I think I pulled it off, and between the pastel color, the way they fit, and the way they look underneath Hilda's ripped stockings, I think she fires on all cylinders. That, combined with her casual, candid, mismatched patterned bra, just makes me weak.

I wanted to contrast Zelda to Hilda by giving her something more deliberately sexy. Matching, lingerie-like matching underwear. Unfortunately, her pose doesn't give her underwear a lot of room to shine, so I think Hilda is definitely the focal point here.
