Jackary Archives Day 123 - Zelda's 50(?!) Zero Suits (2020) (Patreon)
Content
Today's Archives Post brings you a whopping 50 images, and it's a pleasure to share these because the overwhelming majority of them have only ever been available in one place, which is an obscure Gumroad pack from years ago.
Indeed, this is a 2020 commission where I drew Zelda in a Zero Suit, and because I was an absolute madman, I decided to have fun with color sliders in Clip Studio and make a bunch of variants. Out of these many, I chose two to be the "main" versions I'd post to socials -- the signature blue one, and a white/blue one, which I thought was a nice look since it utilizes BOTW Zelda's color scheme. You've probably seen these before -- they're even stickers in my shop! But almost all of the other ones here will be new to most people.
Artist's Notes:
First of all, I need to point out that the first two images in this gallery have a better face than all the other ones. I kind of bungled her face on this drawing the first time around, and it wasn't until later when I released this drawing in a Spicy Pack that I updated it and made it look better.
It would be far too much work to reapply the new face to every Zero Suit variant, but here's a PROTIP if you like a certain variant and want the newer face on it: if you just bring both versions into a photo editing software (even MS Paint would probably work), you can just cut out the new face and paste it onto the old one.
Aside from that, if you think a lot of these Zero Suit colors are bizarre, well, you'd be absolutely right. The truth is that I made like six different versions that each required different colors. And since each new color variant was its own layer, I decided to just have fun with it and mix and match all possible color combinations. This resulted in some truly terrible variants, but that's kind of fun, right?
